"I was very impressed with duo Bo-Han and Junhao who showed great teamwork to get the win" head coach Brad Ferreira said. "Bo-Han's work continued in singles with his second win of the day. We didn't have enough to get the win" he said.
Weber State struck first after duo Bo-Han Li and Junhao Ye won an impressive 6-4 match on the No.1 court. Playing in the No.2 spot was Kris Van Wyk and Nick Werner who had a tight match up until the end. Van Wyk and Werner ultimately fell 7-5.
With the doubles point on the line, it came down to Michiel Van Schoor and Cezary Walkusz who went into a tiebreaker and narrowly fell 7-6 (8-6).
In singles action, the Bengals claimed two quick wins to take a 3-0 lead going into a battle between van Wyk and David Felix in the No.1 spot and came close in both sets and fell 7-5, 7-5. Idaho State clinched the match 4-0.
