WSU falls 6-1 to Sacramento State

Weber State University's men's tennis fell 6-1 on the road against Sacramento State Saturday morning.
"Kris play very well,"director of tennis Brad Ferreira said. "He played a very good player who is in his senior season who had a very good career. Everyone else battled with the altitude."
Sacramento clinched the doubles point with wins on the No. 1 and 3 courts.
In singles play, Kris Van Wyk was the lone Wildcat to secure a team point as he defeated Losbergs 6-4, 6-4 in No.1 singles. The five remaining Wildcats battled tough but ultimately fell to the Hornets.
WSU now sits at 2-7 in Big Sky Conference play and 4-16 overall on the season.
Weber State will host their last match of the season on Sunday, April 21 at 11 a.m. against Portland State.
