Weber State hits the road for first Big Sky games of the season

• The Weber State volleyball team continues the 2019 season with the start of Big Sky action. WSU will take on Northern Arizona on the road Thursday and Southern Utah on Saturday.
• First serve for the Northern Arizona match will be Sept. 26 at 7:30 p.m.

• Weber State currently holds a 9-2 record. Weber State is on a five match winning streak.
• Sam Schiess earned Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week for her stellar performance at the MSU Fall Invitational.
• WSU hosted the Wildcat Invitational to start the season and came away as tournament champions. There were three teams with a 2-1 record but the Wildcats overall set winning percentage gave them the tournament title.
• The Wildcats were picked No. 2 in the Big Sky preseason polls.
