WSU drops another close one 62-61 to Bobcats

OGDEN - Weber State lost another close heartbreaker game as the Wildcats fell 62-61 to Montana State Thursday night at the Dee Events Center.
WSU has lost three home conference games by a total of four points. The loss drops the Wildcats to 6-13 overall and 2-6 in Big Sky play.
How it happened
Jerrick Harding scored Weber State's first 10 points. With the Wildcats leading 10-9, WSU went on a 10-0 run to take a 19-9 lead, their largest of the first half. WSU led 35-28 at halftime with Harding leading the way with 19 first half points.
WSU started the second half on 8-2 run and led by as many as 13 early in the half. MSU responded with a 13-2 run to cut the Wildcat lead to two points midway through the second half.
The Bobcats took the lead at 55-53 with under four minutes to play. After the Wildcats tied the game at 55, MSU scored five-straight points and led 60-55 with 43 seconds to play.
Michal Kozak knocked down a 3-pointer with 24 seconds left, then after an MSU miss, Harding made a layup and a free throw to give the Wildcats a one-point lead with 15 seconds left.
That's when Harald Frey found Amin Adamu for a layup with three seconds left to give the Bobcats the win.

Weber State shot 39 percent from the field, compared to 33 percent for the Bobcats, but MSU outrebounded the Wildcats 42-37. WSU shot 31 percent from the field in the second half and the Wildcats finished the game 6 of 12 from the free throw line and 7 of 29 from 3-point range.
Harding finished with 31 points, his second game this season with 30 or more points. He was 12 of 23 from the field with three 3-pointers, to go along with four rebounds and three assists.
Kham Davis added nine points and nine rebounds off the bench and Michal Kozak had eight points and four rebounds.
The loss snapped WSU's 11-game winning streak against Montana State and was MSU's first win in Ogden since 2009.
