• Weber State returns to the Dee Events Center for the 2020-21 home opener on Sunday when the Wildcats host Texas A&M International.
• Sunday's game will begin at 12 p.m. No spectators will be allowed at the Dee Events Center but the game will be streamed online for free on Pluto TV 1054 and on WatchBigSky.com. Live stats available at WeberStateSports.com.
• The Wildcats opened the season with a 93-72 loss at Grand Canyon on Friday afternoon. Junior Daryn Hickok led Weber State with 20 points in Friday's game. Three other Wildcats scored in double figures with Kori Pentzer adding 12, Jaydn Matthews with 11 and Ula Chamberlin with 10 points. Dominique Williams had a game-high 12 rebounds.
• Velaida Harris is back for her third season as head coach of the Wildcats.
• Weber State returns seven letterwinners off last year's team. Five of the top six scorers are returning off last year's team, including Ula Chamberlin, Daryn Hickok, Kayla Watkins, Jaydn Matthews and Kori Pentzer.
• Texas A&M International is a Division II school located in Laredo, Texas. The Dustdevils are 1-0 after opening the season with an 89-76 win at Division I member Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Wednesday night. Five different Dustdevils scored in double figures in the win with Patrycja Jaworska leading the way with 21 points and 10 assists.
• TAMIU was 11-17 last year and finished 8-14 in Lone Star Conference play. They are coached by Nate Vogel who is in his second season as head coach.
• This will be the first-ever meeting between the Wildcats and Dustdevils.
• After Friday's game, the Wildcats won't play again until next Sunday, Dec. 6 at Boise State. The next scheduled home game is Dec. 15 against Pacific.
