Wildcat men's tennis falls to BYU

PROVO, UT - Weber State men's tennis took on the BYU Cougars in Provo, Utah tonight and fell 0-4.
"A little disappointing today," said head coach, Brad Ferreira. "We would like to at least compete hard and today we did not do as well as we have been."
BYU came away with the doubles point after picking up wins in the no. 2 and no. 3 spots. WSU duo Cezary Walkusz and Sebastian Buxman fought hard against the Cougars' Sean Hill and David Ball in the no. 3 spot, but were unable to come away with the victory. The no. 1 match went unfinished.
In singles play, the Cougars picked up three points in the no. 4, no. 2, and no. 3 spots. The Wildcat men competed well, but were unable to come away with a victory. The matches in the no. 1, no. 5, and no. 6 spots went unfinished.
"Kris and Johnny competed very well, but Arthur was due a bad day as he has been so good up to now, and Sebastian tweaked his knee in the doubles," said Ferreira.
Weber State (4-3 overall) will host in-conference competitor, Idaho State on Saturday, February 8th at 4:00 pm.
