MBB notes: Wildcats host Vikings Saturday night

Weber State continues its homestand and begins the final stretch of the regular season as the Wildcats host Portland State on Leap Day Saturday night at the Dee Events Center. Saturday's game will begin at 7 p.m. and will be streamed online for free on Pluto TV 535 and WatchBigSky.com. WSU radio broadcast will be on 1430 KLO and kloradio.com. Steve Klauke and former Weber State standout and Big Sky MVP David Patten will call the action on the simulcast.

• Weber State is 11-16 overall and 7-9 in Big Sky play, currently eighth in the league standings with four games remaining. The 'Cats are coming off an 82-71 win over Southern Utah last week.

• Portland State is 15-14 overall and 9-8 in Big Sky play, following Thursday's 89-76 win at Idaho State. The Vikings have won three straight games heading into Saturday.

• Senior Cody John had 28 points in last Saturday's win over SUU.
