Wildcat men take fourth at Big Sky Cross Country championships

The Wildcat men's cross country team finished in fourth place at the Big Sky Championships. Weber State totaled 89 points to take fourth place in the meet, held at the Meriwether Golf Club in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Weber State was led once again by junior Christian Allen who took third place overall and earned All-Big Sky honors for the second time in his career. Allen posted a time of 23:18.2 on the 8K course, and finished just three seconds out of first place.

Taylor Dillon was WSU's next runner, finishing in 13th place at 24:06.0. Freshman Logan Anderson was 2nd at 24:29.4 and Dallin Leatham finished 23rd with a time of 24:31.5. Weber State's fifth runner was Bronson Winter who was 28th at 24:40.3.

Northern Arizona, the defending national champions and ranked first in the country, won the meet with a total of 30 points. Southern Utah was second at 53 and Montana State finished third at 80.

The Wildcats will next compete at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships on November 12 in Provo, looking to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
