Men's Cross Country Records Second Place Finish at Big Sky Championships

Peter Visser and Jacob Peterson Rewarded All-Conference Honors
The Weber State men's cross country team recorded a 2nd place finish at the Big Sky Cross Country Championships in Bozeman, Montana. This is the highest finish for the Wildcats since 2019.
Weber State recorded 58 points in the race. Weber State only finished behind nationally ranked, No. 7 Northern Arizona.Â
Peter Visser led the Wildcats, finishing in 2nd place with a time of 23:45.5. This is the highest individual finish for a Wildcat since 2006.Â
Jacob Peterson finished in 8th place at 24:22.2. Visser and Peterson were rewarded with All-Conference Honors for finishing in the top 10.Â
Owen Rogers crossed the finish line at 24:37.9 in 13th. Wesley Kallgren finished in 18th with a time of 24:55.0. Tyler Spencer wrapped up the scoring in 20th place at 25:06.8.
Ty Davis finished soon after in 21st. Taylor Knight and Carson Day quickly followed in 23rd and 24th, respectively. Hanokh Gailson crossed in 28th place. Alex Harbertson finished in 40th place.Â
The Wildcats will now look forward to the Mountain Region Championships on November 14 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
