OGDEN - Weber State kept its winning streak alive with an 80-69 win over Portland State Saturday night at the Dee Events Center.

The Wildcats had four players in double figures as they moved to 8-0 overall and 2-0 in Big Sky play with their 14th straight home win. Weber State is one of just 12 teams in the nation still undefeated.

The Wildcats led by as many as 18 points early in the second half. The Vikings never cut the lead to less than 10 points in the second half.

WSU head coach Randy Rahe
"The key tonight was our rebounding against one of the best rebounding teams in the league. I was really pleased with our rebounding and we got a lot of guys involved. I think our identity is our defense, togetherness and toughness and that's what we are embracing.

Up next
The Wildcats return to the road to take on Washington State on Wednesday night in Pullman, Washington. The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Network.

After that, Weber State will play its next four games at home, including games against Utah State, BYU and Fresno State.
