The accolades don't stop.

Weber State volleyball's superstar outside hitters, Rylin Adams and Dani Nay, have been named 2021 AVCA Pacific North All-Region Honorable Mentions.

The Pacific North, a region that consists of many PAC-12, Mountain West, and Big Sky schools, named 14 players to the all-region team, and seven players as honorable mentions. This is Adams' second time being named to the all-region team, while it's Nay's first time receiving the honor. They are the only players from the Big Sky Conference to receive all-region awards.

Adams finished her historic career with a historic season. Her 464 kills led the Big Sky Conference and set a new career high for the springy senior. Those 464 kills are tied for the eighth most in a season in Weber State history, and give her 1,467 kills in her career, putting her in third place in WSU history for most kills in a career.

Her versatility knows no bounds. The 2020-21 Big Sky MVP and All-American also capped her senior season with 302 digs which gives her 1,414 total for her historic career. She has the second most digs of any Wildcat in program history.

One of Weber State's biggest weapons in the 2021 season was the serve, and Adams had a career high 42 aces in her final season in Ogden. She tallied 139 aces in her career which places her in sixth place in the WSU record books.

Nay, the recipient of the 2021 Big Sky MVP award, also had a tremendous season. Her 405 kills set a new career high for the super sophomore, and she hit a wonder .213% on the season. During the 2021 season, Nay also scored 1,000th career kill in a match against Southern Utah, becoming just the 18th Wildcat to enter the exclusive 1,000 kill club.

Perhaps Nay's most important weapon in her arsenal was her serve. She had a historic season from the service line and led the nation in total aces and aces per set for much of the season. She finished the year with 71 aces which is the second most in a season in Wildcat history and will likely finish the season ranked in the top five in both statistics after all postseason play is complete. Nay, who will enter her junior year in 2022, is already in the top ten in Weber State history in career aces with 114. The outside hitter also had a career high 341 digs which was the second most on the squad.
