WSU hits the road for two games at Sacramento State

• Weber State hits the road in the Big Sky for the final time in the regular season as the Wildcats play two games at Sacramento State this week. The Wildcats and Hornets will meet on Thursday at 5 p.m. PT (6 p.m. MT) and again on Saturday at 11 a.m. PT (12 p.m. MT) from the Nest in Sacramento. Both games will be streamed on Pluto TV 1052 and WatchBigSky.com and on the radio on 103.1 FM "The Wave".
• Weber State has won three-straight games, seven of the last eight games and 11 of the last 13 games. The Wildcats are 14-5 overall and 9-3 in Big Sky play, in third place with four scheduled games remaining.
• Weber State remains second in the nation in 3-point field goal percentage at 40.9 percent. WSU trails only Baylor in 3-point percentage. Weber State made 18 3-pointers in Thursday's win over NAU, the most 3-pointers ever against a Division I team. The Wildcats have made at least 10 3-pointers in nine games this season and WSU has shot 40 percent or better from 3-point range 10 times this season.
• In addition to 3-point shooting, the Wildcats rank high in the nation in several other offensive categories. Weber State is sixth in the country in field goal percentage, shooting 50.7 percent from the field. WSU has shot at least 50 percent from the field eight times this season and the 'Cats are a perfect 8-0 in those games. WSU is also seventh in the country in scoring offense, averaging 83.8 points per game, 13th in the country in free throw percentage at 78.5 percent and rank 16th nationally in scoring margin at +14.7.
• Senior Isiah Brown led the Wildcats averaging 23 points per game in the two games last week, including a career-high 31 points on Thursday. Brown is second in the conference in scoring at 18.2 points per game and ranks second in field goal percentage, fifth in free throw percentage and sixth in assists.
• Sacramento State enters this weekend with a 7-8 overall record and is 4-6 in Big Sky play, currently eighth in the league standings. The Hornets have lost five of their last six games. Sac State leads the Big Sky in turnover margin at +3.3 and Ethan Esposito is fourth in the league in scoring at 17.5 points per game.
• Weber State holds a 42-10 all-time series lead over Sacramento State, but the Hornets have won three of the last four, including a win in Boise in the first round of the Big Sky Tournament last year. WSU is 18-8 all-time in games in Sacramento.
• After this week, the Wildcats have just two games scheduled before the Big Sky Tournament. Weber State will host Northern Colorado on Thursday and Saturday next week at the Dee Events Center.
