Women's basketball final home games this week

• Weber State women's basketball returns home for the final home games of the season when the Wildcats host Sacramento State for two games this week. Â
• The Wildcats and Hornets will play Thursday night at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 12 p.m. at the Dee Events Center. Both games will be streamed live on Pluto TV 1054 with live stats at WeberStateSports.com.Â
• The Wildcats are 0-17 overall and 0-14 in Big Sky play. Weber State is coming off two road losses at Northern Arizona last week.Â
• Individually, Daryn Hickok leads the Wildcats in scoring at 10.8 points per game. Hickok scored a season-high 22 points on Thursday and followed that up with 18 points on Saturday. On the season she has scored in double figures eight times this season.Â
• Jadyn Matthews recorded her fifth double-double of the season on Saturday, finishing with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Matthews leads the team and ranks eighth in the Big Sky in rebounding at 7.3 per game. She is also third on the team in scoring at 9.4 points per game and has scored in double figures eight times this season.Â
• Junior Kori Pentzer is averaging 9.5 points per game, second best on the team. Pentzer is also first in the Big Sky and ranks seventh in the nation in free throw percentage at 91.7 percent. She is 44 of 48 from the line this season. Â
• Sacramento State comes into this week with a 2-17 overall record and is 2-14 in Big Sky Conference play. The Hornets are coming off a 73-66 home win over Southern Utah on Saturday.Â
• The Hornets are second in the Big Sky in 3-pointers made per game, averaging 8.3 per game. Sacramento State ranks 12th in the country in 3-pointers attempted, averaging 28.6 attempts per game. The Hornets are coached by Bunky Harkleroad who is in his eighth season as head coach.Â
• Weber State holds a 29-18 overall record against Sacramento State but the Hornets have won the last four meetings. In games in Ogden, WSU is 16-7 all-time.Â

• Velaida Harris is in her third season as the head coach of at Weber State.Â

• After this weekend's games, Weber State will close out the regular season next week with games on Wednesday and Friday at Northern Colorado.
• The Big Sky Tournament will be held March 8-12 in Boise, Idaho. WSU will play on Monday, March 8 in the first round at the Idaho Central Arena. Â
