Wildcats to host Sac State Friday, Saturday

OGDEN, UT - The Weber State University's women's volleyball team will host the Sacramento State Hornets on February 26th and 27th in Ogden, Utah. The matches will be played on Friday at 6:00 pm, and Saturday at 4:00 pm in the Swenson Gym.
This will be the 52nd meeting between the Wildcats and Hornets, the overall record between the schools is 12-39 for SAC. Their last matchup was in the fall 2019 season, when the Wildcats won 3-0 in Sacramento. The Wildcats look to add another win to the 6-18 record in Ogden, Utah. Sacramento State is currently 5-3 on the season, and are coming off two wins against Idaho.
Weber State had a great weekend against Northern Colorado on February 20th and 21st. The Wildcats picked up two wins against the Bears, to bring their overall record to 8-0. This is only the second time in Weber State history that the 'Cats have gone 8-0 in a season, the only other time being the 1988 season. Weber State will tie the best record in Wildcat history if they earn two more wins.
The Wildcats look to continue their 8-0 winning streak against Sacramento State. The team currently has 384 kills, 66 aces, 416 digs, and 122 assisted blocks. Rylin Adams and Dani Nay lead the Wildcats' statistics with 123 and 122 kills, respectively.
