Wildcats face Hornets again Saturday in Sacramento

• Fresh off a win Thursday night, Weber State is back in action at Sacramento State on Saturday for the final road game of the season. The Wildcats and Hornets will play Saturday at 11 a.m. Pacific time (12 p.m. MT) from the Nest in Sacramento. The game will be streamed on Pluto TV 1052 and WatchBigSky.com and on the radio on 103.1 FM "The Wave".
• Weber State beat Sacramento State 82-73 Thursday night behind five players scoring in double figures for the Wildcats. Weber State has now won four-straight, eight of the last nine and 12 of the last 14 games. The Wildcats are 15-5 overall and 10-3 in Big Sky play, in third place with three scheduled games remaining.
• Weber State was just 3 of 13 from 3-point range but the Wildcats shot 59 percent in the win Thursday night. The 'Cats have shot 50 percent or better from the field nine times and are 9-0 in those games. Weber State continues to rank second in the country in 3-point field goal percentage at 40.4 percent and the Wildcats jumped up to third in the nation in overall field goal percentage at 51.1 percent.
• WSU scored 80 points for the 13th time this season and improved to 13-0 in those games. Weber State is seventh in the country in scoring offense, averaging 83.7 points per game. The Wildcats are also 11th in the country in free throw percentage at 78.8 percent, after going 9 of 10 from the line on Thursday.
• Five Wildcats scored in double figures, led by Seikou Sisoho Jawara with 19 points. WSU freshman Dillon Jones had his first career double-double, finishing with 111 points and grabbing a career-high 12 rebounds. Isiah Brown added 16 points and continues to rank second in the Big Sky in scoring at 18.1 points per game.
• Sacramento State dropped to 7-9 overall record and is 4-7 in Big Sky play, ninth in the league standings.
• WSU has now won 10 or more Big Sky games in 13 of the 15 seasons under head coach Randy Rahe.
• After this week, the Wildcats have just two games scheduled before the Big Sky Tournament. Weber State will host Northern Colorado on Thursday and Saturday next week at the Dee Events Center.
• The Big Sky Tournament will be held March 10-13 in Boise, Idaho. The top five teams in the league standings will receive a bye into the quarterfinals. With a win on Saturday, Weber State will clinch a first round bye in the tournament.
