Wildcat women's basketball heads to Montana State for two games

• Weber State is back on the road for two games this week against Montana State in Bozeman.
• The Wildcats and Bobcats will play Thursday night at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 12 p.m. at Worthington Arena. Both games will be streamed live on Pluto TV 1057 with live stats at WeberStateSports.com.
• The Wildcats are 0-11 overall and 0-8 in Big Sky play. Weber State is coming off two losses to Idaho last week, losing on back-to-back days Friday and Saturday at the Dee Events Center.
• Individually, Kori Pentzer leads the Wildcats in scoring at 10.3 points per game. Pentzer also leads the Big Sky and is 13th in the country in free throw percentage. She is 32 of 35 from the line this season for 91.4 percent.
• Junior Jadyn Matthews had her second double-double of the season on Saturday, finishing with 11 points and 10 rebounds. She was 5 of 7 from the field and also had two blocks and two assists. On the season, Matthews is averaging 9.4 points per game and is tied for the Wildcat lead in rebounding at 6.6 a game.
• Aloma Solovi posted a career-high 14 points in Saturday's game against the Vandals. She was 6 of 11 from the field and knocked down a 3-pointer in the win.
• Montana State enters this weekend with a 9-5 overall record and is 6-2 in Big Sky play, currently third in the league standings. The Bobcats have won four-straight games, including a sweep of Montana last week. MSU is first in the league in steals and turnover margin and ranks second in scoring defense and third in 3-point field goal percentage, assists and free throw percentage. Darian White leads the team in scoring at 14.7 points per game and also leads the Big Sky in steals and ranks third in assists.
• This will be the 87th all-time meeting between Weber State and Montana State, both charter members of the Big Sky Conference. The Bobcats hold a 53-33 all-time series lead and MSU has won four-straight and 25 of the last 26 against the Wildcats. WSU is 11-30 all-time in Bozeman and hasn't won there since 2006.
• Velaida Harris is in her third season as the head coach of at Weber State.
• After this weekend's games, the Wildcats return home for two games against Montana set for Feb. 11 and 13.
