Wildcats host final matches of regular season against Montana State

OGDEN, UT - The Wildcats will finish up the regular season on March 20th and 21st with a pair of matches against Montana State in Ogden, Utah. They will be hosted by Weber State at the Swenson Gym, and begin at 2:00pm and 4:30pm, respectively. 

The Wildcats and Bobcats' series record is currently sitting at 39-37 for the Wildcats. The last time these two teams matched up was in the fall of 2019, when Weber State swept Montana State 3-0. The Bobcats are 10-2 in Big Sky Conference play, and are sitting in second place, just behind Weber State. 

Weber State is coming off of a sweep weekend against Idaho State, where the 'Cats went 3-0 in both of the matches. The Wildcats are currently 13-1, and first place in the Big Sky. Weber State only needs one more win to clinch the Big Sky Regular Season title, which will have to come from Montana State. 

Statistically, the Wildcats have earned 695 kills as a team, with a .236 percentage. The team has had 99 aces, 829 digs, and 192 assisted blocks. Rylin Adams leads the Wildcats in kills, with 234, a .241 percentage, and averages 4.42 kills per set. Dani Nay has 29 aces, 194 kills, and a .206 kill percentage. Makayla Sorensen leads the team in digs, with 211.

Following the matches against Montana State, the Wildcats will head to Greeley, Colorado for the Big Sky Championships hosted by Northern Colorado from March 31st to April 2nd.
