Cats' Drop Tight Match To Montana

Missoula, MO - The Weber State women's tennis team battled hard against Montana but fell short 4-3 Saturday morning.Â
During doubles play, Montana secured the point in the No. 1 and No. 3 position. At No. 2 doubles, Megan Davies and Sicely Ferreira defeated Lauren Dunlap and Alex Walker, 6-2.Â
Weber battled back in singles. The Cats' first point came from Megan Davies in the No. 4 position as she defeated Maria Goheen 6-3, 5-7, 6-1. On court five, Pei-Hsuan Kuo earned the victory 6-4, 6-1 against Ivayla Mikova. Taking the upper hand in the No. 6 position, Sicely Ferreira earned Weber their final point 6-3, 6-2 against Alex Walker.Â
The Wildcats take on Montana State March 28 at 10 a.m. in Bozeman, MO to continue their 2021 season.Â
