Weber State totaled 20 points in the meete to beat Boise State who was second with 37 points. CSI came in third at 93, followed by Westminster and the College of Southern Nevada.

"I thought our team did a great job running patiently early in the race and then moving well and tough over the final two miles," said WSU head coach Corbin Talley. "It was great to be running again and a good test against a young and talented Boise State team."

"Chrisitan looked strong in the opener and Dallin and Taylor moved well through the Boise State pack," Talley added. " I was very pleased with the race I saw from our young guys. It was a fun opening race to the season. We are looking forward to the work we have in front of us and I'm excited to see what this group can do this season."

The Wildcats will next be in action next Saturday at the BYU Autumn Classic in Provo.
