WSU Men's Tennis Ends Weekend With 4-0 Loss Against UNLV

Las Vegas, NV - WSU men's tennis wrapped up their four-match weekend at the Fertitta Tennis Complex with a 4-0 loss against UNLV.

UNLV took the early advantage by winning the doubles point. The Rebels were able to beat out the 'Cats on courts two and three.

Finishing first, Jordan Coutinho and Matteo Savio were bested by UNLV's Jordan Sauer and Christopher Bulus, 7-5. The Rebels Milos Dabic and Zac Brodney would shortly finish their 7-6 (4) win over WSU's Tristan Sarap and Elyes Marouani.

Entering 1-0 into singles, WSU would only need three singles wins to clinch the game. However, the Rebels would earn the first three over Bo-Han Li (6-1, 6-2), Jordan Coutinho (6-3, 6-3) and Chia-Chieh Lin (7-6 (2), 6-0).

Sebastian Buxman, Elyes Marouani and Matteo Savio went unfinished.

Up Next: The Wildcats are back home Feb 5 against Utah State.
