'Cats Fall To Falcons, 5-2

USAF Academy, CO - Weber State men's tennis (2-7) fell to Air Force 5-2, in non-conference action Sunday morning at the USAFA Indoor Tennis Courts.
Starting strong the 'Cats Elyes Marouani and Tristan Sarap earned the first point of the day at No. 2 doubles, 6-2, against the Falcons Nick Vroman and Arjun Kersten. At the No. 1 position, Sebastian Buxman and Bo-Han Li were bested by Robert Baylon and Jonathan Mascagni, 6-3.
To clinch the doubles point at the No. 3 position, Jordan Coutinho and Matteo Savio took the upper hand against Jordan Azuma and Alex Krawietz in a close match, 7-6. The Wildcats secured the doubles point and took the early advantage heading into singles.
The 'Cats had their sole singles win by Tristan Sarap when he defeated Jonathan Mascagni, 6-1, 6-4 at the No. 2 position. The Falcons took wins on the remaining 5 courts, ultimately securing the 5-2 win over the Wildcats.
