Ogden, UT – Weber State women's tennis ended its weekend with a 7-0 win over the Colorado Mesa University Mavericks Sunday afternoon. With the result, the Wildcats improve to 4-4 overall this season.
"We did a very good job competing and creating offense today," said head coach RuthAnn Allen.
The 'Cats secured their first point of the match swiftly when Sicely Ferreira and Megan Davies defeated Maike Waldburger and Paige Furin 6-0. To secure the 1-0 advantage, the Wildcats Megan Lombardi and Yuuna Ukita beat Halle Romero and Lauren Thomas 6-3.
Keeping their momentum going into singles, the Lady 'Cats won straight sets on all 6 courts.
Up Next: The Wildcats are back on the courts Friday, Feb 25 to take on NAU with first serve set for 1 p.m.
