Wildcats play final road game at NAU Saturday afternoon

Weber State takes on the Lumberjacks Saturday at 2 p.m. in Flagstaff.
• Weber State plays its final road game of the regular season when the 'Cats head to Northern Arizona Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats and Lumberjacks will tipoff at 2 p.m. from the Walkup Skydome in Flagstaff. The game will be televised on ESPN+ and the ESPN app. Steve Klauke will have the call on the WSU radio broadcast on 103.1 FM "The Wave". Live stats at WeberStateSports.com.
• The Wildcats are 19-10 overall and 12-6 in Big Sky play. WSU is coming off an 81-75 loss at Portland State on Thursday night and has lost five of its last six games.
• Weber State has just two games remaining in the regular season. The Wildcats are currently in third place in the Big Sky standings at 12-6, a half game behind Southern Utah for second place. Montana State is on top of the league standings at 13-3. The Big Sky Tournament is scheduled for March 9-12 in Boise, Idaho. The top five finishers in the conference standings will receive a bye into the quarterfinals of the tournament. WSU is one win away from clinching a first round bye.
• Northern Arizona is 9-19 overall and 5-12 in Big Sky play and has lost four straight games heading into Saturday's contest. The Lumberjacks are coming off a 70-66 loss to Idaho State Thursday night.
• Senior transfer Koby McEwen continued his strong play with 24 points to lead the Wildcats Thursday night. He also had six rebounds and four assists and was 7 of 8 from the free throw line. He has now scored in double figures in all but one game and has reached 20 or more points 12 times, including three of the last four games. McEwen is third in the Big Sky in scoring at 18.2 points per game and is averaging 19.2 points per game in conference games, second-best in the league. McEwen now has 528 points this season, and is the 24th player in WSU history to reach 500 points in a season. Also on Thursday, McEwen surpassed 2,000 career points. He now has 2,009 career points in 146 career games. He played two seasons at Utah State and two seasons at Marquette before coming to Weber State. The 2,009 career points ranks as the 16th most career points of any active player in the country.
• Sophomore Seikou Sisoho Jawara added 18 points with four 3-pointers in Thursday's game at Portland State. It was Jawara's 16th game this season scoring in double figures. He has also made at least three 3-pointers 10 times. He ranks second in the Big Sky in 3-point field goal percentage at 44.4 percent and is ninth in 3-pointers per game at 2.2. He is also second in the conference in minutes played per game, averaging 34.3 minutes per contest.
• Dillon Jones pulled down 13 rebounds for the Wildcats on Thursday and has now had double figures in rebounding 22 times this season, including the last 11 games. He continues to lead the Big Sky and ranks seventh in the nation in rebounding, averaging 10.8 per game. He is averaging 11.4 rebounds per game in the Big Sky games. Jones also has 15 double-doubles this season, tied for the eighth-most of any player in the country. His 314 rebounds this season rank as the 10th most in a season in Weber State history. Jones is also third in the conference in steals and fifth in minutes played.
• The Wildcats are one win away from 20 wins this season, which would be the eighth time in 16 years under Randy Rahe the Weber State has won at least 20 games in a season, and the first since 2017-18.
• Weber State ranks fourth in the country in free throws made this season with 445, an average of 15.9 per game. The Wildcats are also ninth in the country in free throw attempts with 600, for an average of 21.4 attempts per game.
• Northern Arizona has lost four straight entering Saturday's game. The Lumberjacks are second in the Big Sky in rebounding and third in 3-pointers made per game. Sophomore transfer Jalen Cone ranks second in the Big Sky in scoring at 18.8 points per game.
• This will be the 115th all-time meeting between the two schools with Weber State holding an 84-30 all-time series lead over Northern Arizona. The 84 wins is the second-most for WSU against any opponent. The Wildcats are 32-20 all-time in Flagstaff, with the last game coming in January 2020.
• Weber State beat Northern Arizona 67-44 on December 2, 2021, the first game of the 20-game Big Sky season. The 44 points is the fewest allowed by Weber State in a game this season. The Wildcats forced 28 turnovers by NAU and recorded 16 steals. Dillon Jones led the Wildcats with 18 points, 12 rebounds and five steals.
• WSU senior Michal Kozak has played in 132 career games, which is now tied for the most games in school history. He needs one more game to pass Jordan Richardson (2010-14) for the most games played in school history. Kozak is also fifth in school history in career blocks with 104 and is 17th in career rebounds with 575.
• After Saturday, the Wildcats will have just one game next week. Weber State will host Southern Utah in the final game of the regular season on Saturday, March 5. WSU will also honor legendary coach Dick Motta at the game.
