Win Streak Runs To Four

Ogden, UT – The Weber State women's tennis team won its fourth straight match with a 6-1 victory over the Portland State Vikings on Sunday afternoon.
Just like they did Friday, Weber quickly locked up the doubles point. Megan Lombardi and Yuuna Ukita won 6-3 and Patty Kuo and Ana Morett secured the win 6-2.
The 'Cats locked up the win in singles with Megan Davies winning at No. 1 singles (6-3, 6-3) and Ana Morett taking the No. 2 singles 6-3, 6-2 victory.
Megan Lombardi took the upper hand at No. 6 singles against her opponent 6-2, 6-1. At No. 5 singles, Sicely Ferreira won 6-3, 6-3. Earning the Wildcats their sixth and final point of the day Yuuna Ukita earned the 6-4, 6-1 victory at No. 4 singles.
"The team is playing well and fighting hard in every match. It is fun to watch their progression and see their hard work pay off," said head coach RuthAnn Allen.
