Throwers Start Things Off for the Wildcats 2022 Outdoor Season

The women's team sent throwers down to Sacramento, California for the Sacramento State Hornet invitational this weekend. This was a great opportunity to get some early experience for throwers.

Lauren Olsen placed third in the Javelin with a mark of 140' 10"
Â
Marissa Schmidt competed in the Javelin and placed seventh with a mark of 128 ' 6" and threw 158' 7" in the Hammer Throw and finished thirteenth.

The Wildcats will be back in action in two weeks on April first and second at the Oregon Hayward Premier in Eugene, Oregon, and the Utah Valley Invitational in Orem, Utah.
