Big Sky play for the ‘Cats begins September 22 against Idaho
Ogden, UT - The Weber State women's soccer team played against an aggressive Gonzaga Bulldogs team tonight. It was a tough game for the 'Cats, and they ultimately fell to the Bulldogs, 0-3. The Wildcats end their non-conference schedule 1-7 overall.
Despite the Wildcats' record in the preseason, coach Craig Sanders believes that the tough non-conference slate has prepared his team well for the upcoming Big Sky conference schedule. "We have a tough schedule, which is good if it develops you. Last year we had a pretty similar result and having that tough schedule helped get us to the championship. We hope that building on this last game we will be match ready to play against Idaho."
About the Match
Kickoff against Idaho will be Thursday, September 22 at 7:00 p.m. at the Wildcat Soccer Field.
