Wildcat Soccer Falls To Tigers

Weber State soccer sits at 1-5 after the loss against Pacific
Stockton, CA – The Weber State women's soccer team picked up a tough loss to Pacific this evening at Knoles Field. Despite starting the game with good rhythm and energy, the Wildcats, unfortunately, fell to a 1-2 deficit.
Weber State came out hard in the first half of play against Pacific however the Tigers were able to put one in the back of the net in the 22nd minute of play. After the goal, the 'Cats stepped up their energy and found Pacific's side of the field. Rachel Twede scored WSU's fourth goal of the season in the 29th minute. Weber State and Pacific were tied up 1-1 at the end of the first half.
Throughout the rest of the match, WSU showed composure but was ultimately unable to find an equalizer against the Tigers. Pacific found the back of the net early in the second half giving them the lead. As the clock ticked on, WSU continued to create scoring chances but was unable to convert a goal in the second half. The game ended in a 1-2 loss for the Wildcats.
