Wildcats Drop Contest To Rebels

Las Vegas, NV – The Weber State women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to UNLV on Friday morning. The team traveled to Las Vegas for a three-match weekend at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
"We had a very hard-fought match against a strong UNLV team. We, unfortunately, came up a little short," said head coach RuthAnn Allen.
Weber State captured the doubles point as Ana Morett and Megan Davies won 6-3 in the No. 2 position while Dylan Lolofie and Megan Lombardi won 6-4 at No. 3
Weber State had some solid individual performances in singles play. Megan Davies battled against Salsa Aher. Davies was stopped in set 1, 6-1 but held strong in set 2 taking it to 6-2 before ultimately losing the match.
Kenadee Semenik gave her best effort in the No. 4 position. After losing the first set and winning the second she rallied back in the third but fell 6-4. Ana Morett also had a close match in the No. 1 position 6-7, 6-2, 6-3.
