"I first want to thank coach Pilkington and coach Talley for entrusting me with this incredible opportunity," Frazier said. "Weber State has a rich tradition and I am grateful that they chose me to help continue that tradition and take it to an even higher level."

Frazier has spent time as an assistant coach at Tennessee Tech, Florida A&M, Butler Community College, and Kansas City Community College.

A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Frazier has spent the last four years training professional, college, and high school athletes in the Kansas City area.

He began his coaching career in 1998 as an assistant coach at Kansas City Community College where he spent eight years coaching. He coached more than 30 All-Americans and 15 National Champions at the junior college level.

Frazier was a standout track and field athlete at Alabama State University and was named the Most Outstanding Sprinter during his career. He won the SWAC title in the 60 meters, 100 meters, and the 4x100 meter relay.

He graduated from Alabama State in 1998 with a degree in Criminal Justice. He continued his career as a professional track athlete for several years and twice qualified for the USATF Indoor Nationals.

"We are really fortunate to have coach Frazier join our program," said WSU women's track and field head coach Paul Pilkington. "To get a coach of his caliber with his experience will be a great asset to all of our athletes."

"We're very excited to have Eugene join the staff," said WSU men's track and field head coach Corbin Talley. "He has extensive experience in sprints, hurdles, and jumps, and will make an immediate impact. He is invested in his athletes' success both on and off the track. His coaching philosophy will fit in well with our staff and with Weber State Athletics."

Former Wildcat track and field standout and multiple Big Sky champion Tawnie Moore will continue to assist in coaching the hurdles and sprints for the Wildcats.
