Weber State totaled 61 points and finished ahead of two other Big Sky schools in Eastern Washington and Montana.Â
The Wildcats had three runners finish in the top 20. Bailey Winter led the way with a third-place finish. She posted a time 17:45.38 on the 5K course.Â
Laurie Murphy was right behind in fourth place with a time of 17:49.53.Â
Hailey Low finished in 13th place at 18:16.45, Saga Hagelin was 23rd at 18:25.35, and Frances Hudson was 25th with a time of 18:31.06.Â
"It's a good young team and we had two freshman, and a sophomore in our top five," said Weber State head coach Paul Pilkington. "For the freshman it was the first collegiate race and they raced very well. Bailey Winter and Laurie Murphy raced great up front."
