Women's Cross Country Places Second at Big Sky Championships

Hailey Day and Audrey Camp Cazier Rewarded All-Conference Honors
The Weber State women's cross country team finished 2nd place in the Big Sky Championships in Bozeman, Montana. This is the highest finish for the Wildcats since 2021.
The Wildcats recorded 80 total points in the podium finish. Weber State edged out Montana State by three points.Â
Hailey Day led the way for the Wildcats with a 7th place finish with a time of 16:45.8. Closely followed by Audrey Cazier in 10th at 17:08.3. Both received All-Conference Honors for finishing in the top 10. These are the first Wildcats to claim the Honors in four years.
Elin Hagelin was the third Wildcat to cross at 17:29.8 for 20th place. Quickly followed by Lydia Felix at 17:35.4 and Hadlie Ballard at 17:35.8 to place 21st and 22nd, respectively.Â
Maci Woolf finished in 26th place. Closely followed by Courtney Earl in 28th. Hannah Bailey crossed in 30th place. Danielle finished in 39th place. Melanie Anderson wrapped up the Wildcats in 49th place.Â
The Wildcats will now look forward to the Mountain Region Championships on November 14 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
