Women's Cross Country Set to Compete in Big Sky Championships

The Weber State women's cross country team will compete in the Big Sky Championships Saturday November 1, in Bozeman, Montana. The 5k race is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. (MDT) at the Bridger Creek Golf Course. The race will be streamed on ESPN+.
"We are so excited to compete this weekend at conference," Head Coach Lindsey Anderson said. "The team is ready and can't wait to show all the hard work they have been putting in preparing for this meet. It will be a fun one up in Bozeman!"
The Wildcats will race against the other nine other Big Sky schools: No. 17 Northern Arizona, Eastern Washington, Idaho, Idaho State, Montana, Montana State, Northern Colorado, Portland State and Sacramento State.Â

Weber State finished in 3rd place last year in the 2024 Big Sky Championships, recording 78 points. The Wildcats finished behind Northern Arizona and Montana State.
Weber State is coming off a 2nd place finish at the Utah State Invitational after recording 43 points as a team. The Wildcats also finished 7th at the Bill Dellinger Invitational in Oregon. The squad was split as both meets were held on October 10.
After the Big Sky Championships, the Wildcats will look ahead to compete in the NCAA Mountain Region Championships that will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 14.Â
