Wildcats rally for 28-21 win at UNC

Weber State scored 21 points and had three interceptions in final 6:34 of the game to seal the win.
The Wildcats trailed 21-7 with 6:34 to play before rallying with three scores to win the game. WSU had interceptions on each of UNC's final three possessions.
Kylan Weisser scored on a 1-yard touchdown run to make it 21-14.
Abraham Williams picked off a UNC pass that set up a Kris Jackson 5-yard TD with 2:28 to play to tie the game 21-21.
Then Winston Reid intercepted a Northern Colorado pass with 1:46 to play and returned it 40-yards for a touchdown to put the 'Cats up 28-21.
Garrett Beck sealed a win with a third interception with 56 seconds left.
The win moves Weber State to 3-2 on the season and 1-1 in Big Sky play. It was WSU's fourth-straight win over Northern Colorado.
The Wildcats scored on their opening drive with a 10-play, 75-yard drive, capped with a 3-yard touchdown by Kris Jackson to jump out to a 7-0 lead.
The Bears came right back with a 75-yard drive of their own for a touchdown but the extra point was blocked by Matt Herron and WSU lead 7-6.
After a missed WSU field goal, UNC scored again on a 15-play, 78-yard drive that lasted 7:33 and led 13-7 early in the second quarter.
The Bears added another touchdown, a 28-yard run, then a two-point conversion and led 21-7 with 4:44 to play in the second quarter.
Neither team scored until the fourth quarter when the Wildcats put up 21 points in the final 6:34.
Northern Colorado had 385 yards, compared to 378 for Weber State. The Wildcats had 201 yards passing and 177 yards rushing.
Individually, Jackson finished with 20 carries for 105 yards and two touchdowns. Weisser was 14 of 29 passing for 201 yards but did throw three interceptions. Haze Hadley had three catches for 55 yards.
On defense, in addition to the interception touchdown, Reid led the Wildcats with 10 tackles. Naseme Colvin added nine and Jack Kelly had eight.
The Wildcats now head back home for two-straight home games. WSU will host Northern Arizona on Saturday, October 7 and host UC Davis on October 14. Both games begin at 6 p.m. at Stewart Stadium.
