Wildcat Soccer falls to No. 20 Northwestern

The Weber State soccer team fell to the No. 20 Northwestern University Wildcats 4-1 on Sept. 7 in Evanston, IL. Weber State falls to 0-6 on season.
The 'Cats were able to hold off Northwestern for the first 25 minutes of the half, but NU scored two back-to-back goals and went into the half on a 2-goal lead.
The lone Wildcat of WSU to find the back of the net was Illinois native, Alaina Wildenradt. Wildenradt scored off of an assist from Emery Jacobs in the 48th minute.
Weber State finished the match with six shots, two being shots on goals. Hadley Harris and Tayiah Lambert both played during the match, each keeper allowed two goals, and Harris finished with one save.
WSU is headed home to host the University of Utah at Wildcat Soccer Field on Sept. 14 at 7 pm MT. The match will be streamed live on ESPN+
