TACOMA, Wash. – The Weber State women's golf team shot a final round 296 on Tuesday to move two spots up the leaderboard for an 11th place finish at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational.
The Wildcats posted rounds of 300 and 295 on Monday at Tacoma Country & Golf Club and entered the day in 13th place.
Cal State Fullerton won the team title, shooting a 12-under par total of 852. The Titans finished three shots ahead of tournament-host Seattle, which finished second at 855, while British Columbia was third at 863.
Jade Gruher paced the Weber State lineup, shooting rounds of 73, 72 and 73 for a 2-over par total of 218 to tie for 21st place.
Cala Korman opened the tournament with a 1-under par 71 and finished up with rounds of 75 and 74 to tie for 28th place at 4-over par 220.
Isabel Gutierrez rebounded from an opening round 79 with rounds of 73 and 74 for a 10-over par total of 226 to tie for 50th place.
Emily Song tied for 61st with rounds of 77, 75 and 78 for a total of 230, and Sofia Fuenmayor tied for 81st with rounds of 79, 81 and 75 for a total of 235.
Seattle's Rivekka Jumagulova shot rounds of 67, 68 and 68 for a 13-under par 203 to cruise to the individual medalist title.
