'Cats dominate Justice College 93-45

Five Wildcats score in double figures in Monday's win.

OGDEN - Five Wildcats scored in double figures as Weber State rolled to a 93-45 win over Justice College Monday night at the Dee Events Center. 

The Wildcats jumped out to a quick 15-0 lead in the first seven minutes and never looked back. WSU led 42-9 with two minutes remaining in the first half and held a 46-14 halftime edge. 

The lead was never less than 29 points in the second half and the 'Cats led by as many as 50 before the 48-point victory. 

Weber State shot 45 percent from the field and held the Lions to 32 percent. Weber State knocked down 13 3-pointers, compared to two for Justice College. WSU also had 17 assists with seven steals and five blocked shots. 

All but one Wildcat that played scored in the game and all 13 players saw action in both halves. 

Blaise Threatt led the 'Cats in scoring for the fifth straight game as he finished with 16 points on 7 of 9 shooting and dished out four assists with three rebounds and two steals. 

Dyson Koehler added 13 points with seven rebounds and made three 3-pointers. 

Freshman Trevor Hennig scored in double figures for the second-straight game and had a career-high 12 points. He was 2 of 3 from the field and 8 of 9 from the free throw line, to go along with four rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Nigel Burris added 11 points and six rebounds. 

The Wildcats are 2-4 on the season and next head to the desert for a Thanksgiving weekend tournament. Weber State will play two games at the Arizona Tip-Off this Friday and Saturday in Tempe. The 'Cats will take on Bowling Green on Friday at 11 a.m., then play Pepperdine or New Mexico State on Saturday. 

The games will be streamed on Passthaballlive.com for a fee, with WSU radio broadcast on 103.1 FM "The Wave".
