Tomley scored 21 points and made the game winning layup in Friday's win at Utah Tech.

After hitting the game-winner and leading the Wildcats in scoring in Friday's win at Utah Tech, Weber State senior Miguel Tomley has been named the Big Sky Conference Co-Player of the Week.

Tomley led the Wildcats in scoring and made the game-winning layup in the final second to seal Weber State's 73-71  win at Utah Tech on Friday night in St. George.

He finished with 21 points and knocked down three 3-pointers. He also had four assists and two steals. He was 7 of 15 from the field and 4 of 6 from the free throw line. He also made the game-winning layup with less than a second remaining to seal the win.

It was his sixth game in double figures this season and his second time scoring 20 or more points.

He is second on the Wildcat team in scoring at 12.7 points per game. He also ranks third in the Big Sky in 3-pointers per game at 2.5.

Tomley, a native of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, transferred to Weber State before this season. He played two seasons at Santa Clara, then two seasons at Idaho State before coming to Weber State. He has played in 103 games in his college career.

The Wildcats are home for two games this week hosting Lincoln on Wednesday and Utah Valley on Saturday at the Dee Events Center.
