Tuan Minh Honored With Big Sky Player of the Week Award

Ogden, UT — Freshman Tuan (Ken) Minh was named the Big Sky Conference Player of the Week for his play last week helping lead the 'Cats to a 2-0 record in conference play.
Minh, the freshman from Vietnam, earned the award after going 2-0 in singles play and 1-0 in doubles play on the week. His most recent singles victory was the clincher for the Wildcats as they took the match against Northern Arizona 4-3 on Sunday. Minh was able to outlast his opponent in the third set of his singles match taking the match and the game with scores of 6-4, 2-6, 6-4.
Minh has accumulated a record of 9-7 in singles play and 11-5 in doubles play during his freshman campaign. He will look to continue his stellar play as the 'Cats hit the road and head up to Montana to take on the Grizzlies of Montana and the Bobcats of Montana State this weekend.
