Wildcat Track and Field wraps up Aggie Invitational

The 'Cats wrapped up the Aggie Invitational with a handful of all-time performances and personal bests this past weekend in Logan, Utah
.
Josh Trafny led the squad with a 242-03 mark in the javelin and a first place finish and Cody Canard was close behind in second place with a mark of 217-09. Trafnys performance marks him second in the Big Sky Conference this season and 13th in the NCAA. He was already second on Weber State's all-time list but will improve from his previous mark of 232-11.

Jake Weathers moved into tenth on the all-time list in the hammer throw with a mark of 186-04 and a first place finish. Jeims Molina broke the freshman record with a second place finish and a mark of 179-07.

Rodee Brow finished first in the 400 meter with a time of 47.18 seconds and is now seventh on the all-time list and third in the conference this season.

Xakai Harry finished second in the long jump with a mark of 23-03.25.

Malik Johnson recorded a PR in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 54.65 seconds.

Jed Smith recorded a season best performance in the pole vault with a mark of 15-07.25 and a third place finish and Brow finished fourth with a mark of 15-01.50.

Bryson Cortes recorded a third place finish in the 100 meter with a time of 10.94 seconds, Tristan Spalding finished 5th at 11.01 seconds and Noah Kjar finished sixth at 11.06 seconds.

Cortes, Brow, Spalding and Kjar recorded a second place finish in the 4x100 relay with a time of 41.26 seconds.

Brow recorded a third place finish in the 200 meter with a time of 21.88 seconds, Spalding finished fourth at 22.30 seconds and Cortes finished fifth at 22.32 seconds.

Spalding, Brow, Johnson and Orion Barger finished the 4x400 relay in third with a time of 3:20.09.

The 'Cats will travel down to Provo, Utah for the BYU Robison Invitational held from April 24 to April 27.
