Captains named for 2024 Weber State football

The five captains are junior running back Damon Bankston, senior linebacker Garrett Beck, senior defensive end Steven Bryant, junior wide receiver Jayleen Record, and junior cornerback Jalon Rock.

As voted on by their teammates, Weber State football has named five captains for the 2024 season.

The five captains are junior running back Damon Bankston, senior linebacker Garrett Beck, senior defensive end Steven Bryant, junior wide receiver Jayleen Record, and junior cornerback Jalon Rock.

The Wildcats open the 2024 season on August 31 at Washington. Kickoff at 9 p.m. Mountain time in Seattle and the game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.

The home and Big Sky opener will be on September 7 against Portland State.
