Women's cross country repeats as Big Sky Team Academic Champions

The Wildcats posted the highest team GPA of any sport in the conference for the second-straight year.

For the second straight year, Weber State women's cross country has been named the Big Sky Team Academic Champion and has posted the best GPA of any sport in the conference.

In its second year, the Team Academic Champion is a conference award highlighting the top team academically in each sport the league sponsors.

For the 2023-24 academic year, the Wildcat women's cross country team posted a team GPA of 3.90, which is the highest of any sport during the year.

It's also the second straight year the WSU cross country has had the highest GPA of any sport.

WSU also had 11 Wildcats earn Academic All-Big Sky honors.

Under head coach Paul Pilkington, the Wildcats finished third at the 2023 Big Sky Championships.
