'Cats fall 1-3 to UNC in Big Sky Opener

The 'Cats kicked off conference play against the University of Northern Colorado on September 26 and fell 1-3 on Senior Night. The Wildcats fall to 1-8-4 on the season. 

Alaina Wildenradt, Hadley Harris, Mikayla Topaum and Lucky Phonharath were honored before the match. 

The Bears recorded two goals in the first from Mia Norman and Lauren Woodhull and then Sunnie Yarnell gave them the 3-0 lead in the second half. 

Sammie Sofonia scored the lone goal for the 'Cats off of an assist from Jenna Nichols at 67:48. 

The 'Cats out shot the bears 6-2 in corner kicks but UNC led the match with eight shots with six on target. 

Harris was the 'keeper for all 90 minutes and recorded three saves. 

The 'Cats will have the weekend off of games but will hit the road to take on Portland State on October 4 at 2 pm MT.
