TACOMA, Wash. – The Wildcat women's golf team shot rounds of 300 and 295 on Monday and are in 13th place following the opening day of the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational.
Cal State Fullerton leads the tournament with a score of 8-under par through 36 holes, one shot ahead of tournament-host Seattle. The Redhawks were led by Rivekka Jumagulova, who shot rounds of 67 and 68 for a 9-under par 135 to grab the lead in the individual medalist race.
Jade Gruher led the Wildcats, posting rounds of 73 and 72 for a 1-over par 145 and a share of 21st place.
Cala Korman joins Gruher in the top-30 after posting a 2-over par 146 behind rounds of 71 and 75.
Isabel Gutierrez and Emily Song are each tied for 61st place with a total of 150, while Sofia Fuenmayor shot 158 and is tied for 90th.
Tuesday's final round will begin at 10:00 am MT.
