Grace Kirby wins Golden Boot in Big Sky Conference

Ogden, UT - Senior forward Grace Kirby was awarded the Golden Boot Award for her play this season, scoring the most goals in Big Sky Conference play. 

Kirby scored 4 goals in conference play and recorded 2 assists for a total of 10 points on the season. Overall, she had 7 goals and a total of 19 points in 1,180 minutes played.

Kirby becomes the 7th Wildcat all-time to earn the Golden Boot. The last Wildcat to achieve this award was Morgan Furmaniak in 2022. The prior Wildcat winners are: Morgan Quarnberg in 2017, Mackenzie Harrison in 2013, Hayley McCoy in 2008, Rochelle Hoover in 2005, and Natalie Hensley in 2001.

The 'Cats will retake the pitch next Friday, November 7th, in Missoula, Montana, where they will take on the winner of Eastern Washington and Northern Arizona in the opening round of the Big Sky Conference Tournament. The match will begin at 11:00 a.m.

The Wildcats enter the tournament as the #2 seed and will aim to clinch their first Big Sky Tournament title since 2013.
