Weber State heads to Orem Saturday night looking to return to the win column against the Wolverines
OGDEN, Utah — Weber State soccer returns to the road Saturday night as the Wildcats travel to Orem to take on Utah Valley at 7 p.m.
The Wildcats enter Saturday's matchup looking to bounce back after a pair of one-goal losses at home. Weber State fell 3-2 to South Dakota State before dropping a 2-1 decision to UC Santa Barbara on Sunday.
Despite the results, Weber State has continued to find offensive opportunities. Lily Blum scored twice against South Dakota State, while Simone Packer scored for the Wildcats against UC Santa Barbara.
Weber State enters the matchup with a 3-4-1 record and will look to close out non-conference play on a strong note before turning its attention toward the remainder of the season.
Utah Valley also enters Saturday's match at 3-4-1. The Wolverines have earned wins over Kansas, Washington State and New Mexico State this season, but enter the matchup after consecutive 2-1 losses to San Diego State and Gonzaga.
Saturday's match will be the second to last non-conference contest for the Wildcats. Weber State will return home Friday, Sept. 25, to host Colorado State at 7 p.m. at Wildcat Soccer Field.
Saturday's match is set for 7 p.m. at Clyde Field in Orem and will be streamed on ESPN+. Fans can also keep up with the action through live stats on WeberStateSports.com
