The Weber State women's track and field kicked off the indoor season with a trip to Boston, Massachusetts.
Two Wildcats competed at the meet, both in the 5,000 meter event.Â
Saga Hagelin finished with a time of 16:13.23 for a PR. She also recorded the fifth fastest 5,000 meter time in Indoor Weber history. She placed 62nd across all nine heats.
Hailey Day recorded a time of 16:41.28, which is her PR. Her new PR is 30 seconds faster than her previous record. She ranked 115th across all the heats.
"Both Saga and Hailey had great races. I'm proud of how they put themselves in the race and stayed tough throughout the race. They both walked away feeling like they had more to give which is exciting for the rest of the track season," Head Coach Lindsey Anderson said.
The Wildcats will now look forward to competing at the BYU Invitational on December 10-11.Â
