'Cats wrap up busy weekend split between New Mexico, Washington and Utah

The 'Cats wrapped up a busy weekend between the Washington Invitational, New Mexico Team Open and the Utah State Speed and Power meet between Jan. 31 and Feb. 1. Weber State had multiple athletes record all-time performances.Â
"I was happy with the performances, we had several life-time best throws at Utah State," Paul Pilkington said. "I am really happy with Eliza in the hurdles and Angelyca in the 400. Laurie won both of her sections; she raced very well."
Washington InvitationalÂ
Saga Hagelin recorded a tenth place finish in the seventh heat of the mile at 4:51.08 and Laurie Murphy recorded a first place finish in the fourth heat with a time of 4:51.82.Â
Hagelin is now seventh on Weber State's all-time list and Murphy is ninth.Â
Danielle Brow recorded a sixth place finish with a time of 4:59.18 in the third heat.Â
Murphy recorded another first place finish, this time in the 3000 meter with a time of 9:31.13 in the second heat, Hagelin finished ninth at 9:36.47 in the third heat and Brow finished third in the first heat at 9:50.84.Â
Murphy is now seventh on the all-time list in the 3000 meter following this performance.Â
New Mexico Team OpenÂ
Angelyca Chapman recorded a time of 55.11 in the 400 meter dash and moved into fourth on the all-time list.Â
Eliza Smith recorded a tenth place finish in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of
8.67 and is now sixth on the all-time list.Â
Abby Triplett recorded a fourth place finish in the high jump with a mark of 05-07.25, Aimee Chambers-Lenthe recorded a mark of 05-05.25 and Stacia Barker finished in 12 at 05–3.25.
Charlotte Wilkinson finished sixth in the 800 meter run at 2:14.14.
Jasmine Devers finished seventh in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.81 and Oliver finished in 11th at 7.87
Chapman, Devers, Oliver and Smith recorded a ninth place finish in the 4x400 relay at 3:51.78.

Oliver recorded a mark of 16-07.75 in the long jump.Â
Chapman finished the 200 meter dash with a time of 24.95, Smith finished at 25.18, Devers finished at 25.18 and Oliver finished 25.47.
USU Speed and Power MeetÂ
Courtney Earl recorded a first place finish in the 3000 meter run with a time of 10:10.85, which converts to 9:49.86 with altitude. Jessica Hill finished third at 10:13.78, Frances Hudson finished fourth at 10:14.05, Trisha Thompson Davis finished at 10:24.40 in fifth, Audrey Camp Cazier finished eighth at 10:34.74 and Hailey Low finished tenth at 10:41.79.Â
Emily Gwilliam finished fourth in the 200 meter run with a time of 26.66.
Kapua Pulotu finished fourth in the shot put with a mark of 46-01.25, Rachel Roberts finished in sixth at 43-07.00, Shannan Fonua finished seventh at 43-05.75, Bailey Tovey finished in eighth at 42-08.25 and Tesia Halaufia finished in 12th at 37-08.50.Â
Hannan Bailey recorded a fourth place finish in the mile run with a time of 5:03.51, Loryn Brimhall finished in 14th at 5:13.47, Camp Cazier finished 18th at 5:18.95, Alyssa Kleinman finished at 5:30.04 and Brooklyn Dayley finished at 5:35.76.
Fonua led the 'Cats in the weight through with a mark of 54-01.75, Halaufia finished tenth at 48-10.25, Tovey finished in 13th at 46-01.25 and Daphne Scriven finished 17th at 39-01.75.Â
Maggie Featherstone recorded a fifth place finish in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:19.75.Â
Gwilliam recorded an 11th place finish in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.11.Â
Abby Titus finished 11th in the high jump with a mark of 4-11.00 and 13th in the long jump at 15-06.75.Â

The 'Cats will hit the road for the Husky Classic hosted by the University of Washington from Feb 14-15 in Seattle, Washington.
