Pilots beat Wildcats

Portland, Ore — The Weber State women's tennis team fell to the Portland Pilots 7-0 on Saturday, March 1st.
The 'Cats were swept in doubles play falling by a score of 6-2 in positions #1 and #2. The wins gave the Pilots a 1-0 lead heading into singles play.
Portland kept the momentum from doubles going into singles play as they swept the Wildcats in all seven singles matches. The Wildcats were unable to push any match to the third set as the Pilots took the victory 7-0.
The Wildcats will take on the Portland State Vikings on Sunday, March 2nd in their second conference match of the year. The Vikings come into the match with a record of 1-3 on the season. The Wildcats will continue their search for their first victory of the season.
