SEDONA, Ariz. – Snow and rain washed out all but a split 18 holes of the Red Rocks Invitational this weekend at Oakcreek Country Club, with the Weber State women's golf team posting a score of 298 to finish in a tie for ninth place.

The scheduled 54-hole tournament began on Friday and the 19-team field got in around eight to nine holes before snow came in and play for the day was suspended. With snow still on many parts of the course on Saturday, the second round was eventually cancelled and the tournament was shortened to 18 holes, with the remainder of the opening round taking place on Sunday in place of the final round.

Isabel Gutierrez carded four birdies in a 1-under par 71 over her 18 holes to finish in a tie for sixth place to lead Weber State.

Cala Korman shot 1-over par 73 to tie for 19th place, while Jade Gruher tied for 31st at 2-over par 74 as the pair each recorded three birdies.

Emily Song finished in 85th place with an 80 and Sofia Fuenmayor finshed 95th at 81 to round out the Wildcats' scoring five.

Emma Lillywhite competed as an individual for the Wildcats and shot 4-over par 76 to tie for 55th place.

Grand Canyon shot an even-par 288 to take the tournament title by a single shot over tournament-host Northern Arizona. NAU's Ellena Slater shot a 3-under par 69 to take individual medalist honors, one shot clear of a four-way tie for second place.
