Wildcats set to begin Big Sky Tournament on Thursday

Ogden, UT — The Weber State Wildcats men's tennis team will begin play in the Big Sky Conference Tournament when they take on the number four-seeded Idaho Vandals on Thursday, April 24th at 9:00 a.m.
The 'Cats enter the tournament as the number five seed after finishing the regular season at 9-11 with a 5-3 mark in conference play. The Vandals come into Thursday with an overall mark of 10-10 and 5-3 in conference.
The two teams played just over two weeks ago, with the Vandals winning 5-2. That match was the bookend of a six-game losing streak for the Wildcats. Following their matchup with the Vandals, the 'Cats were victorious in their final two matches of the season against Eastern Washington and Portland State, winning 6-1 and 4-3, respectively.
The Vandals come into Thursday following a 4-3 win over Sacramento State over the weekend. Weber State leads the all-time series over the Vandals 24-20.
